We travel to Phoenix 2-3 times a year and when we do we always go to the Blu Burger Grille at least once. Partially because it is in the same parking lot of the target that Jenn loves, but mostly because we both love burgers and these guys make a great burger. Oh, and they also have nice dark beers on tap which I, Lucas, Love.

My Take
I love burgers and would eat them multiple times a week and would say they are top 3 for me when it comes to food. It is the perfect blend of everything you need to deal with. I love beef and chicken, but would say beef is higher on the list.
We first went to this spot cause we were hungry after a Target shop and just needed something. I was unaware of the vibe, the food and the beer.
Honestly, I don’t think we have tried any of the appetizers or the other food they offer because we only have burgers when we go there. I usually get the build-your-own burger with beef, lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup and cheese. I sometimes will deal with bacon but usually no. Jenn gets the same but she will add pickles.
I also love the fact that they have beers on tap and usually have a dark beer on tap which I like the most. I am a fan of low hop, high malt darker beers and if I am going to have a beer I want it out of the keg, I can get bottles for my house.
The atmosphere is pretty good, and the service has always been awesome. They have a patio outside which is nice but in Phoenix, if it’s 35 above (95 F) eating a burger in the AC is the way to go.
Do yourself a favour and if you are in the area and need a bite this place is awesome.
