A Premium Beach Club Experience
While travelling through Puglia, our group of five decided after doing a few city days to spend one of our days at a beach club, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. 🥂☀️🏖️

What you need to know TLDR;
Should I put this on my itinerary? YES, we were really happy we booked this, it was such a relaxing day. The beach is beautiful and the service is excellent!
How much is it? Depends on what type of experience you want and how many quests you have. you may want a single sunbed to experience sun, music and the central lively position on the beach, or you may want to be front row to the ocean with dedicated waiter service with parking and showers included. There’s a variety to choose from!
What We Booked
Bahia offers several beach club packages, from simple umbrella and lounger setups to full VIP experiences for larger groups. We were a group of 5 and chose the Bahia Premium Ruinart (18+only) which was an exclusive front row spot ideal for 6. It came with 4 super comfortable sunbeds a table with 4 chairs and a storage chest, a reserved parking space, and dedicated waiter service. We were also greeted with a bottle of champagne and a delicious fruit platter.
Other options include:
☀️ Essential experiences for a more affordable beach day with standard loungers and app-based ordering.
☀️ Premium experiences with better beach positioning, upgraded loungers, parking, waiter service, fruit, and Champagne.
☀️ Beach bed experiences for small groups wanting a more private and comfortable setup.
☀️ Royal and Imperial areas for larger groups, celebrations, or anyone looking for a full VIP experience with private space and dedicated service.
Packages and inclusions can change, so it is worth checking the Bahia website before booking.
We ended up booking our spot the day before and we were there in June. I imagine the full summer months would tend to be busier so booking a little in advance may be helpful.
We enjoyed food right on the beach. Both the fish and chips and ahi tuna bowl were excellent, the fish was super fresh! Oh and you have to order the nutella filled churros … those were insane good!
How to Get There
Bahia Porto Cesareo is located along the Salento coast, near Torre Lapillo in the Porto Cesareo area. The easiest way to get there is by car, especially if you are staying in Lecce, Gallipoli, or another nearby Puglia town. From Lecce, the drive is about 40 minutes, while from Gallipoli it is usually around 35 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.
The official address is Via Torre Lapillo, 97–99, 73010 Porto Cesareo LE, Italy.
If you are not driving, you can get to Porto Cesareo by bus and then take a short taxi toward Torre Lapillo, but this is definitely easier with a rental car. In the summer, traffic and parking can get busy (unless your package comes with a reserved spot), so it is worth leaving early, especially if you have a beach club reservation.
Is Bahia Porto Cesareo Worth It?
For us, Bahia Porto Cesareo was absolutely worth adding to our Puglia itinerary. After a few busy days exploring towns, walking through old streets, and packing in as much as we could, this was the perfect reset day.
The beach was beautiful, the service felt easy, and having food, drinks, loungers, shade, and parking all sorted made the day feel effortless. It is definitely more of a splurge than just showing up at a public beach, but if you want a relaxing beach club experience in Salento, this is a great spot to book.
We would especially recommend it for couples, friend groups, or anyone who wants one slower, sun-soaked day during their Puglia trip.
